Adding Fun to Self Reflection The I Ching is about randomness. Whether your method is yarrow stalks, coins, calculator, or darts, toss your fate to find your role in the true dynamics of life -- become Tao with the times and opportunities. Finding "good fortune" and expressing your true nature is the core of an Heaven to Earth, I Ching reading. No matter the trouble, let a question and toss lead you to correct action written in the 384 lines of the 64 hexagrams. I remain amazed and amused through 25 years of classes, workshops, private readings, and booths at how well the 64 hexagrams translate to peoples' lives as if living words. At a booth event, dart tossing entertains to introduce people to the wonder of the I Ching. Most people toss a dart with curiosity and no question, but their hexagram unveils a unique window to experience the ancient wisdom of China. As it becomes clear to them that the toss applies to their life, I can educate them about the I Ching, Heaven to Earth, I Ching, R.L. Wing hexagram and line text, and Change Cycle. These types of events are crucial to further public outreach and education efforts. At Gemini party 2007, there were 15 darters. Perhaps the most striking thing about the weekend was that five people darted hexagram 20, Cauldron (50t). I even adjusted the dart board, yet the number is true. One-third of the weekend's darts received counsel that "higher realms of group consciousness are being stimulated." There were 19 darters at Gemini party 2006. During Gemini Party 2005, 20 people threw darts. Six people tossed darts at Salem's Maiden, Mother, and Crone bookstore on Saturday, March 3, 2006. Gemini Party 2006: I do not charge for the toss and reading. Donations are welcome and sales of Heaven to Earth, I Ching help pay expenses. Send a donation today to help me attend future events.
