Begin a New Journey

The I Ching begins with the promise of a new journey.

The path starts at the trailhead, the source of desire to question self, environment, or events and to place self peaceably within the human condition.  Expressing divine nature in harmony with your environment is one form of Tao. 

The journey starts with a void, a problem, a quest.  You might ask, but who, what, where, when, and how?

Like a bridge leading into remote backcountry, this web site is dedicated to taking the first steps into discovery of personal and environmental conditions.  Start with a wilderness heart to explore self and, like any journey, working with Heaven to Earth, I Ching takes planning, meditation, and practice.  Above all, the use of this ancient manuscript should add enjoyment to achieving goals.  Use it to build towards fulfillment of your happiness. 

Heaven to Earth interprets a millennium old hexagram arrangement such that it revolutionizes our current understanding of the I Ching.  Rather than a snapshot of current events, which is a typical I Ching reading, a sequence of hexagrams is found that illuminates the very roots and direction of a situation.  A new consciousness is born.

You can work towards divine nature by applying Heaven to Earth, I Ching to happening events.  Meditate on those past decisions that lead to your new situation.  From this you can set a new direction. 

Begin your journey with conscious empowerment found in the ancient wisdom of the 64 I Ching hexagrams and in the Change Cycle.  Crossing the bridge, or the Great Water, begins the journey in earnest.  The summit is of good fortune to avoid danger in all endeavors.  There are many ways to express this simple notion, but the summit has many challenges ahead.  Like a map, trust Heaven to Earth, I Ching to safely guide you.  Perhaps the journey is the goal, while the summit is one stop along the way....

At the heart of Heaven to Earth, I Ching is the Change Cycle, which arranges the 64 hexagrams in an orderly fashion.  The arrangement can be found as the Master Sheet of All Hexagrams.  Making decisions in harmony with the times is our goal.  If we live in accordance with our nature and the times, then we are in harmony with the Tao.
