Using Companion Editions - How do I Unlock These Secrets?

Curiosity works because the first stop in Heaven to Earth, I Ching is Chapter One and an introduction.  Chapter Two begins with a chart of Yang and Yin attributes and the Tao and the Tao of Different Objects.  It ends with a discussion on polarity and sequential change.  Trigram attributes start Chapter Three.  Trigrams also are arranged in two ways, either by the polarity World of Ideas or by the sequential World of Form.  Together, these trigram arrangements interact to form hexagrams. 

Chapter Four begins with developing questions.  I offer suggestions for when events are happening, but the words are not.  Chapter Five is Creating Your Image.  It teaches the coin toss method to create hexagrams and your peculiar change cycle.  Seasoned practitioners should also review this chapter because it prepares you for a later, more detailed Change Cycle discussion.  Chapter Six is an detailed discussion of an example question, a hexagram, and its change cycle.   

Change Cycle details are found in Chapter Seven.  Illustrations from the Master Sheet of All Hexagrams show how the Change Cycle progresses.  This chapter also includes the Correlation Sheet.  The correlation occurs between the traditional hexagram arrangement and the Change Cycle.  For those individuals who need proof that the Change Cycle is compatible with the traditional arrangement, the Correlation Sheet is the evidence.  The Change Cycle Chart details how hexagram Heaven changes into hexagram Earth.   

Chapter Eight introduces the text for the 64 hexagrams.  As noted, R.L. Wing wrote all text for the hexagrams and any text warts are mine.  Importantly, hexagrams are ordered by the Change Cycle and not by the traditional, King Wen arrangement.
